Originally from Cameroon and based in Johannesburg, Moyo is a distinguished African art curator with more than 25 years of experience building relationships with traditional artisans, farmers and communities across Africa. With Okuhle, he is bringing a lifetime in food and hospitality home to a greater purpose: to share the Africa he knows and loves while building a self-sustaining model that creates lasting impact for the artisans, children, farmers and communities behind its stories. His deep respect for African heritage, craftsmanship and the people behind it is central to Okuhle’s mission; to preserve and celebrate Africa’s artistic legacy while creating sustainable opportunities, greater access to global markets and economic dignity for the people whose hands and traditions keep that legacy alive. “I want every meal we serve to have a purpose, to create opportunity, preserve dignity, and make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.” “Behind every piece of art is a person, a family and a story.
